Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Should Be Reading.

Rules
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Teaser

Book: I’m still going with A Fine Balance, and am really enjoying it except have been really busy so haven’t had as much reading time as I’d like. I’m up to page 209, and my teaser is from page 336.

How much Dina Aunty relished her memories. Mummy and Daddy were the same, talking about their yesterdays and smiling in that sad-happy way while selecting each picture, each frame from the past, examining it lovingly before it vanished away in the mist.

A Fine Balance - Rohinton Mistry

Would love to read your teasers, so please share the link below and I’ll read them!

Memes are a great way of interacting with other bloggers and sharing books titles, reviews, etc. I love the idea of memes. Your teaser reminded me of my late Ma. She used to love telling us stories of her “yester years” and then we get transported into that magical times of the 20’s to 50’s. Will wait for you review to form a comprehensive opinion 🙂

I really like teaser Tuesdays and www Wednesdays so they’re the main ones I participate in.

Sorry about your Ma. Sounds like you have great memories of her though. I also love hearing stories about the past from family.

Hopefully will be finished in a week or so and then will post a review. Bit slow with the reading lately!

I will check out www Wednesdays, thanks for letting me know.

Tell me about it, I am still stuck on my first book of the 3 I am planning to read this week. But hey, why should we rush 😉

True, we should just enjoy reading!
