Teaser Tuesday

11 Dec
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Should Be Reading.
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

The next moment, it was hard to say by whose act, she was in his arms. At the beginning he had no feeling except sheer incredulity. – page 126

This is from 1984 by George Orwell. I’m only up to page 100 though.

I think 1984 if probably my favorite dystopian novel ever. And not just because it’s the first one I remember ever reading. 🙂 Thanks for sharing! Here’s my teaser from Hysteria by Megan Miranda. Happy Tuesday!

I read this before 1984, and I guess it’s time to read it again to see if I still enjoy it.

Definitely worth reading again now that you’ve lived through 1984!
